Then, I decided to totally mute the audio for that clip alone and add some other smooth audio in its place. But, when I clicked on the Audio Tab (in Windows Movie Maker) to remove it, I found nothing in the Audio Bar. (Audio embedded with the Video or something??? Huh?)
How did I solve the Issue? Read on..
1. I created a movie out of the current clips with the present Audio.
2. Then, used Total Video Convertor, to extract the audio alone from the newly created movie. [Just give the output format as .MP3]
3. Muted the whole Audio track of current movie and added this extracted audio in the Audio Bar.
4. Made a "Cut" before and after the clip for which I needed a new audio.
5. Inserted the new audio (from the Audio Archive I maintained in my local server) in its place.
And walah...I've done what I wanted.
It's just then I pondered, how the very small things ( making an intro movie for the club) we do, teaches us really big technical stuff (which I would not have been able to do on-the-spot in case of an emergency.).
This is what I term as, "Experience" !
